You don’t have to do this alone. There are resources for you no matter what stage of burnout you are in.
Here you will find what you need for recognition, prevention and recovery.
Recognition identifies your symptoms. Many have become normalized. You have learned to tolerate and they’ve become part of you but cause suffering. You don’t need to suffer, it can end.
Prevention is when you take your control back. Whether you see it all around or you’re currently in the depths of it or climbing your way out of it. Repeating cycles of burnout doesn’t have to be your story.
Recovery doesn’t have to be alone. There is supportive community, tools and guidance for you.
Nurses and those who work in healthcare are my passion. There is always space in my calendar for those who do not work in healthcare as no one should suffer alone.

The Healing Huddle is held twice a month and is virtual. It’s a supportive community that fills the gap between knowing the tools that soothes your nervous system & emotions and using them.

How do you identify symptoms?
Your symptoms may actually surprise you as many are normalized. They become part of who you are but are really indicators of a dysregulated nervous system and maladaptive learned coping tools.
Even if you KNOW you are burned out, symptoms will still surprise you.
Recognition leads to empowerment.

Prevention
Take back control.
No matter where you are in your burnout journey, this is most important.
Whether you have never been burned out, in the far reaching depths of it or crawling your way out, it’s most important to know how to prevent these cycles from recurring.
Changing jobs or careers won’t help. It’s more than just your job (but is an important key).
Join the community.

Recovery
No more suffering alone.

Burnout recovery is possible.
After working in healthcare for over 20 years, I hit my final wall in 2021 and walked away from my career. It took me a year to recover from the depths of burnout I experienced. I don’t believe this has to be everyone’s story.
In the process of working through my own recovery I have gathered and developed the tools and resources necessary to create lasting change. Because change has to happen. From the way we normalize burnout to dismiss those experiencing it to the institutions and culture we work and live in. The current state is not sustainable.
We can create another way. A way in which we give community and support and resources from everyone who is starting out their career to almost in retirement.
There is hope. You don’t have to do this alone.
